Pix from several recent performances, both in the troupe and solo. Some of the solo pix were very grainy/noisy, so I softened them up to get rid of the noise. Gives me a dreamy look too!
A note for the curious (or shocked!
): I wear a gypsy skirt when I'm dancing with the troupe as we do an Andalusian skirt dance and its kind of hard to do a skirt dance without a skirt - and I'm not about to be left out of all the fun! After the skirt dance; I remove the skirt along with my dance sisters and we perform the rest of the dances without them. For the reasons why a skirt is really a unisex garment, I refer the curious to my (in)famous Gender Rant.

Dancing with the Shemadan at Kalisa's Cabaret at the Vet's Hall. (08/11/07)
![]()
As with the old Kalisa's, I have to dance on the floor in front of
the stage for safety reasons! The ceiling at the Vet's hall is higher
than it was at Kalisa's, but my new Shemadan is also quite a bit taller!

But I can get up on the stage for my finale after I remove it!

Nothing like putting on your skirt to dance a skirt dance with the gals!
It was our 23rd wedding anniversary too! That's my lovely wife in center.
