I've been intending on picking up a set of this type of traction board, but at well over $100 even on the low end, I wasn't in a hurry. These were on sale for $59/shipped, the biggest no brainer in the history of mankind. Lashing them up like this is an experiment - I can't sit in the back seat at all with these in place. My wife can just fit underneath them, but is too close for comfort. Granddaughter fits fine - for now. If they become a nuisance, I'll remove them and keep them in their included bag, but as long as this works, I don't have to remember to throw them into the Jeep. I'll hopefully never even need them, but for $60 its cheap insurance! Zorba's Jeep

The "Super Duty" trailer hitch I'm going to temporary onto it. I'm planning
on a small trailer that I'll pull with the Pintle hook - but I expect the
trailer will have a ball coupler on it when I buy it - so this will get it home.
