Off road lites are nice - off road. They're not great on road and certainly very much illegal. So I set these up such that they will only run when the Jeep is in 4WD. They are otherwise run off of the fog lite circuit, so if the fog lites are on, AND the vehicle is in 4WD, the fog lites go out and these off road lites come on instead. When the Jeep is in 2WD, or the transfer case is in neutral, the fog lites will be on (when turned on, of course). All done with a double throw relay controlled by the 4WD sense switch on the transfer case. Unlike the fog lites, these off road lites work when the mains are either high or low.
