Here it is, the front covers and fallboard have already been removed.

Label under the lid proclaims proudly: "Hobart M. Cable Piano".

Label on the action proclaims the same thing!

And on the harp, or "plate" as its called in "the trade".

Keyboard half removed. Look at all that dust! Although the piano was all around very dusty,
I think that no-one had ever pulled the keyboard in its entire 87 year history as there was
easily three times the dust under the keyboard than elsewhere. If this piano could talk - I
even found a 1941 nickel and a 1960 dime in here!

Keybed cleaned out. Most of the parts shined up really well. There's some beautiful wood that
no-one ever sees - an example of old time American craftsmanship which is largely gone.

Keyboard bits scattered all around the living room. I "borrowed" my makeup counter stool
as the bench for this beast is in sad shape. Hope to either repair or replace the bench.

The action removed from the piano for cleaning and inspection.

Cabinet parts in temporary residence in our dance room.

Now the cleaned action is back into the cleaned piano.
