Re-Lacquering the sharps.

Pull all of the sharps out of the instrument...
Prep each one with #0000 steel wool.
Line them all up...
Weight them all down and give each one 3 coats of black lacquer followed by 3 coats of clear.
Start putting them all back in...
Done. Nice and shiny!
All's back together again!
Voicing tool coming from eBay.This of course, makes the ivories look worse than ever! Gotta bleach 'em!
The above pictured voicing tool was a good deal on eBay, but it will be a while before I actually use it as I want my tech to shape the hammers first. Then I'll see what I have. Then, perhaps, some cautious voicing after careful study of the Reblitz repair book.
