I had TWO damper spoon regulation tools...

So I converted one to a damper wire regulator.

Pedals had gotten tarnished again, so I re-polished them, then masked them off as seen here...

So I could clear coat the darn things so they'll stay shiny!

NOTE THIS WELL: This is NOT the accepted way to regulate the dampers to the damper lift rod (which is why I'm calling this "PRE-regulation") - and indeed I'll probably have to do it again "the right way" eventually, but it did make the dampers work MUCH better than before. The "Piano Smith" is coming in about 3 weeks; I'll be talking to him about the finer points of damper regulation and hammer voicing at that time.
