Zorba, Male Belly Dancer

Zorba & wife as Art!
This scan doesn't at all do it justice, I commissioned Maria Parasson to paint this
as a Christmas gift for my wife. You can find out more about her Recommended by Zorba! Link opens in new window here.

Here are links to other male dancers, articles I've found on male dancers, and a few of the more important general Belly Dance links. And then there are a few links I've thrown in that have nothing to do with Belly Dance at all!

I have scoured the web looking for articles and websites by, for, and about male Belly Dancers. Most of what I've found is listed here. I have, however, omitted sites that merely mention the fact that there are male dancers, or mention that someone saw a male dancer, or other sites that may mention male dancers in one context or another but have no real content (related to male dancers).

If you see the red "Belly Jewel" (Recommended by Zorba!) by a vendor's link, Zorba has had dealings with and can recommend that particular vendor. Nothing at all against the others though!

If you have a favorite link you'd like to contribute, please contact me. Do note that I generally do not link to Facebook, MySpace, GeoCities, or similar fad/amateur sites; although I'll make an exception for male dancers *IF* the site is publicly accessible without a logon.

Linking to www.doubleveil.net

I'm always flattered when folks find my site useful enough to want to link to it. Please feel free to link - you don't need my permission, or anyone's permission to link to any site on the 'net.

HOWEVER - I do not accept links from facebook under ANY circumstances, and any link attempts from there are blocked at the server level. Nor will I link from my website to facebook. I'm not on facebook, and YOU shouldn't be either. That site was a thorn in my side long before it became the big popular thing that it is today and its my considered opinion that it should be avoided at all cost. Do not send me emails complaining about this policy - I'm QUITE firm about it and I ignore the many facebook apologists.

Moving on, I'd prefer text links to read:

Zorba, "The Veiled Male"

or optionally:

Zorba, "The Veiled Male" - Male Belly Dancer

For those who like banners, feel free to use this one (save to your own server please!):

I strongly suggest you only link to http://www.doubleveil.net, and not the sub-pages. If you do feel the need to link directly to a sub-page (sometimes called "deep linking"), please check your link from time-to-time as sub-pages may get renamed, moved, deleted, or otherwise end up breaking your link! Consider yourself advised! Smile!
